Bio

I am a bilingual queer Chilean-American  

who engages communities through

writing and artistic practices with

magical realism, joy, and play.  

 My picture books include Nana and Abuela and Patchwork Memories. I am also a member of SCBWI and I have created many interactive art installations, performances, and workshops.

I live with my wife, niece, and nephew in Minneapolis, MN where I befriend local librarians, mend clothes, and stoop sit.
